About us

The Paul Lunn-Rockliffe Charitable Trust was established in 1972 by Paul and Jacqueline Lunn-Rockliffe who had a long term aim to support the needy in this world. The founding document sets out that "the Trustees to give first but not exclusive consideration to charities likely to further Christianity and consider second charities connected to the relief of poverty to the aged and support of the infirm….”

Almost 50 years on, second and third generation family are maintaining the work of the Trust, deeming it pertinent to continue supporting projects trying to make a difference in a world that is still faced with a plethora of pressing issues. Although the landscape and language of our charitable work has altered since the Trust’s inception, we are still committed to supporting projects within the context of an overarching Christian ethos.

Our support for global, national and local needs is minuscule and our ability to manage and distribute grants is very limited. However, this encourages us to look closely at different projects and offer our collective knowledge, expertise, and experience as we engage with supported charities and organisations, to bring mutually positive outcomes for both parties.
